Stoke Row Beaver Scouts - Programme Till Half Term Summer 2010

We welcome Indigo Gow, Rufus Shanagher, Joshua Day, Finlay Colin and Jack Lambert to Beavers this term and we shall be saying goodbye to Archie Barribal, Freddie Street and William Hybert who move up to Cubs at the end of this term. This term we shall complete the whole of the Outdoor Challenge Badge (essential to gaining Chief Scout Bronze Award when leaving Beavers) and the Adventure Activity Badge.  We have indicated below what badge work is undertaken on which evenings and details of these two badges are on the reverse of programme.  Please note that other badges CAN be done at home, namely some Activity Badges and Staged Activity Badges (see middle pages of Beaver Log Book).  The Hobby and Animal Friend Activity badges are simple ones to do at home – new beavers will be given details of these.  How about some of you starting on the IT Staged Activity Badge at home?  For full details please refer to the Scout Association website – go to http://www.scoutbase.org.uk/6to25/beaver/badges/index.htm and click on Activity Badges then Staged Activity Badges. If you are doing a badge at home, please tell a Leader what you plan to do.
