Michaelmas 2011 Programme

This term we welcome 8 new beavers : Kaan Ozgu, Daniel Clokey, Jasper Lawson, Joshua Griggs, Charlie James, Ben Beville, Tobias Martin and Beatrice Bradley. At the end of the term Rufus, William, Hannah and James will be going up to Cubs.  Sadly we shall also sadly be losing our great leader Cara and we hope a new parent would like to take over as Vixen? Any volunteers to speak to Tarka please! Natalie Fatemi is helping us for a term for her Duke of Edinburgh award. This term we are going to gain the Creative Challenge Badge – one of the six Challlenge Badges the Beavers need to obtain before gaining the Chief Scout Bronze Award upon leaving Beavers. We will also do the Air Activities Badge (please see details at bottom of page),  Please remember some of the Activity Badges can be done completely at home by the Beavers (especially Hobby, Animal Friend, Healthy Eating) and then shared with the Colony - please look at website in link below and tell a Leader what you plan to do and we need to find time during a Colony meeting for the Beaver to tell us what they have done. http://www.scoutbase.org.uk/6to25/beaver/badges/index.htm.  WE SHALL BE OUTSIDE until half term so please bring jackets and trainers. PLEASE SIGN UP TO HELP TWICE THIS TERM ON BEAVER BOARD. Thank you. Tarka
